Essential oils that help with sleep

Since sleep issues are far too common I have started to stock quite a few essential oils that help to reduce stress, induce calm and help with sleep.

Blends

Stress Less
Not only does this blend work wonders when diffused at work or home to reduce feelings of stress or anxiety, but this blend can be added to hair and body products or can be used as a personal fragrance to allow you to carry feelings of calm with you throughout the day.

Clarity and Calm
Clarity and Calm is great to diffuse to create peaceful and calm energy wherever you are; home, work, or in your vehicle.

This blend contains a combination of Tangerine, Orange for improved focus and concentration as well as  Ylang Ylang which brings a comforting scent, making it great for massages, yoga, or part of your bedtime routine.

Tame the Squirrel
This blend was formulated to help improve focus and concentration and helps to calm a busy mind.  Great for studying or to aid sleep when insomnia is due to a mind that just won’t stop.

A peaceful and balancing blend to bring harmony and a state of groundedness to both the body and mind. Blended with soothing and comforting essential oils to promote a feeling of mindfulness and overall well-being.

Single oils

Lavender
Lavender Oil has a beautiful, versatile aroma. It is anti-bacterial and is a must-have for your first-aid kit. Its calming and sedative properties make Lavender Essential Oil a wonderful oil to help relax, fight stress and to promote sleep.

Chamomile
For anyone that is under stress, is going through a period of depression, loneliness, intense fear or is challenged by anxiety or post traumatic shock disorder,

Chamomile Essential Oil can help bring a sense of calm. Chamomile is known to be especially helpful in combating insomnia, and is also a suggested oil for use during times of anger or irritability.
If you've ever enjoyed a cup of Chamomile tea, you are already familiar with the aroma and sense of calm that chamomile offers. The aroma and sedative effect of the undiluted Roman Chamomile Essential Oil, however, is much more fragrant and powerful.

Patchouli
The fragrance of Patchouli Essential Oil is rich, earthy and grounding. In fragrancing applications, patchouli is a base note that acts as a fixative and grounds a blend making it perfect for a bedtime scent.
